Summary
wowTools is a browser-based utilities platform. Tools are designed to run locally in your browser. We do not require an account, and we do not sell your tool inputs.
Local processing
Whenever possible, input data (text, files, images) is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. If a tool needs a network request, that tool discloses it before you proceed.
Local storage
We may store preferences on your device using browser LocalStorage, such as theme (light / dark / system), favorites, recent tools, and recent search queries. Optional per-tool history (when enabled) can retain recent inputs on your device; sensitive tools require an explicit opt-in before history is stored. Recent searches are clearable from the search UI and are never sent to our servers as raw query text.
Cookies and third-party scripts
When enabled for this site, we may use third-party services that set their own cookies or similar technologies:
- Analytics — Google Analytics and/or Google Tag Manager for usage metrics. Tool inputs are not sent.
- Advertising — Google AdSense to support free tools.
These services are operated by their providers under their own privacy policies. You can limit tracking with browser settings or extensions.
